OSSE IS THE MAN AS QUEBEC TAKES GOLD

The Quebec team are the Golden Boys of Canadian basketball, taking top spot at the Canada Games with a 105-103 thriller over Nova Scotia.

Montreal guard Kemy Osse scored twice in the final five seconds, including a long J with 0.1 seconds left on the clock to seal the deal in P.E.I.

Osse, a 6-1 scoring wizard, scored a game-high 30 points and solidified his status as one of Canada's top rising 'ballers.

Kenny Chery and Kewyn Blain added 21 points for Team Quebec.

VALIANT COMEBACK

Quebec had to hold on for the win after coughing up a 17-point first-half lead.

Nova Scotia's 20-0 third-quarter run erased the deficit, and Quebec actually fell behind by four with 4.8 seconds left.

That's when Osse took over.

Osse scored 30 points, including

the game-winner.

First he scored off a steal, then Nova Scotia gave away the rock again on the very next possession.

Osse took the inbounds pass and scored from near the top of the key for the win.

Deontay Smith of Halifax topped Nova Scotia with 27 points, while Mandrez Downey of Cole Harbour, N.S. added 23.

OSSE ONE TO WATCH

Osse left Montreal to play for Archbishop Carroll in Washington D.C., but he showed his loyalty by coming back home to play for Quebec.  He's really making a name for himself south of the border. Click here for a scouting report on Osse from ESPN.com
