Lowdown
The Lady Islanders have a legitimate chance to make the playoffs this season, as everyone's back and there are six available post-season spots. This veteran squad returns lots of offensive firepower, and are poised to have their best season in years.
Guards
Anna Crosby and Rikki Bowles are the catalysts. Bowles is poised for a breakthrough after a very solid second season. The entire unit had an unfortunate tendency to turn the ball over last year, something that will have to be remedied for the squad to remain competitive.
Forwards
Catherine Parent is one of league's best forwards, with size, mobility and double-double prowess. She led the league in rebounding last season, and could repeat the feat. Marie-Eve Poliquin, forward and Annie-Pier Gorup make this a very solid frontline.
