Lowdown
St. Lawrence is a welcome addition to the AAA league, giving Quebec City players a chance to brush up on their English skills while balling against the best players in the province. It won't be easy for the Lions to make a major impact in Year One, but they have some talent that can't be ignored.
Guards
Veteran Marianne Roberge, a 5-5 guard, is the only returning backcourt player on this team. This entire unit may be undersized, as 5-6 guards Emilie Morasse and Eve Marquis-Poulin, both rookies, are the only other guards on the roster.
Forwards
Regional AA Rookie of the Year Louise Dubé will join returning All-Star Patricia Poirrier to form the core of the team. CPEQ product Alexandra Perusse, a 5-10 forward, will also contribute.
